Articles

However I am completely convinced of the thought that Meta-art should first and foremost speak for itself, I could not help myself writing some articles on the Meta-art of Marianne Schuit. It simply is too complicated, too full of high-level surprises, to leave it entirely to the eyes of the beholder.

For those of you who want to get a better understanding of this deceptively ‘ordinary’ art, I strongly recommend reading the articles below.

To get an even broader view, I suggest that you read the mentioned mailings as well.

Not everyone will be able to see this: that you have to understand Meta-art, to understand where the arts have found their most profound expression of what it means to be human in this day and age.

Not everyone will be able to see how Meta-art, most paradoxically - for heaven’s sake it is just old fashioned painting... -, and in the deepest of ways, is connected to the extremely complicated, boundlessly fragmented and ultimately paradoxical spirit of our times.

But isn’t that the characteristic of everything that is really important?
