“But in Meta-art there is something happening in a thin layer of paint, which couldn’t possibly happen: time is running like reality itself has found a place in this layer of paint.
Because a Meta-painting is such a complex collection of ultimately contradictory phenomena (p. 13), which our brain is constantly experiencing in a different way, in our brain grows this awareness of a developing 'something' that is just as indeterminate as its development is definitely taking it more and more into the future. This awareness we know from daily life: the awareness of running time.
Thus, however Meta-art shows all the features of the principally static art of painting, in this she is dynamic as if she is more related to video-art and life-performances.”
